Google Accidentally Reveals Pixel 8 Pro on Its Website
Ahead of its official unveiling, Google has surprised users by releasing a photo of the Pixel 8 Pro. This occurred on the same day that Apple announced its plans to launch the iPhone 15 on September 12th. The image, which was spotted by an account on X (formerly Twitter) called Android Setting, showed a person holding a beige-colored phone to their ear. Although the image is no longer visible on the Google Store page that promotes their subscriptions and services, the alt text reportedly described it as “A person takes a call on a Pixel 8 Pro phone in Porcelain.”
Here’s a look at the Google Pixel 8 Pro in Porcelain.
This image is from the Google Store website, which inadvertently published this image early in the promo page for “Google Subscriptions & Services”.

The device in the picture resembles the phone in the previously leaked images of the prototype of the model. Its rear cameras are inside a single glass panel on a raised metal bar that spans the entire width of the phone. And of course, the Google “G” logo is in the center of the device. Based on other previous leaks — yes, there were many — the Pixel 8 Pro’s camera lineup consists of a 50-megapixel main camera that lets in 50 percent more light, and a 64-megapixel Sony ultra-wide camera. It is also rumored to have a flat screen instead of the curved screens similar to the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro. It is also expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and a maximum charging speed of 27W.
Google’s Pixel 8 Pro doesn’t have a release date yet, but the tech giant revealed the two previous generations at an event held in October 2021 and 2022.
